Double Participles in the Evolution in the Portuguese language

Abstrakt

The article deals with the diachronic analysis of double verb participles in Portuguese. The purpose of the work is to analyze the use of two participles of the selected verbs in the evolution of the Portuguese language from the 13th century to the present.

The research is based on two linguistic corpora: www.corpusdoportugues.org and CETEMPúblico.
