Study evaluetes influence of eight weeks of mindfulness based stress reduction therapy on perceived stress level, pain score according to the shortform of Mc Gill Pain Questionnaire, quality of life and consumption of analgesics. Stupy group involved eight patients with chronic non-cancer pain.
In line with published results, we have documented reduciton of stress perception, pain score and analgesicdose. Quality of life score measured by EQ-5D questionnaire increased.
These favourable results developer slowly and were particularly prominent follow-up three months after the training phase.
