Abstract

Systolic pressure above 185 mm Hg is a contraindication for thrombolytic treatment with alteplase in patients with acute ischemic stroke (CMP). However, it is uncertain what the target blood pressure should be in these patients.

The aim of the study was to compare the intense lowering of blood pressure compared to the decreasing pressure as recommended.
