Abstract
The contribution deals with one aspect of the topic Succession of States in respect of State responsibility, which is currently on the programme of the UN International Law Commission. It focuses on the question whether a successor State can present a claim to reparation on behalf of its nationals for damage suffered at the time when they had a nationality of a predecessor State? This question can be answered by affirmative.
