Psychoanalysis and suicide

Publication |
2019

Abstract

We will try to define a psychoanalytic stand against other suicide disciplines in the paper. Subsequently, we will present the best-known psychoanalytic theories of suicide with an emphasis on the work of S.

Freud and M. Klein.

We will try to describe the psychological process by which a person moving at the border of suicide goes through and present these concepts with case studies. In this way, we may be able to see at first sight the complex world of psychoanalytic constructs, and at the same time we hope that the contribution will serve a deeper understanding of the inner world of a person thinking of suicide.
