Abstract
Watercolor atlas includes approximately 780 dominant herbs of nature in the Czech Republic. The original pictures, painted exclusively according to the living material, are accompanied by short texts on the ecology of the species, distinguishing features not apparent from the picture, or related species and their determination.
The selection of plants in the book reflects the shift of our flora since 1973 by the inclusion of common invasive species and a greater number of grass dominants. The mountain plants and orchids show a selection of striking and frequent species that naturally occur in the Czech Republic.
