The article deals with the educational processes that have affected digitizationin the last decade. It presents and summarizes a simple metastudy complemented by world education statistics that identifies the three main learning processes that are digitizing the fastest - MOOCs, personalized learning, and links to virtual reality.
It explains the principles, advantages and disadvantages of digitization of these processes and current trends in their development. It is insired by the technological realization of world-wide education processes in the context of Industry 4.0 and brings a comprehensive view of some of its applications (gamification, MOOC, virtual classroom).
