Transitions in the Classical German Philosophy

Publication at Faculty of Arts |

Abstract

The authors consider disparate topics as nature and spirit, theory and practice, or time and eternity from the perspective of transition. How do we get there from here? They show that Kant, Fichte, Schelling, and Hegel take up classical philosophical topics with new poignancy: The essence of spirit, nature, time, or eternity is relational, it encompasses the transition into its own otherness.
