Abstract
The most impactful advance in oncology in the last decade has been the introduction of immunotherapy into routine clinical practice. The combination of standard therapies and modern therapeutic modalities has enabled us to achieve increases in response rates and median overall survival.
But there are still many challenges. We need reliable predictive biomarkers of efficacy and toxicity to be able to select suitable patients for the treatment with cancer immunotherapy.
In this review, we report a list of therapeutic agents which are already approved or are being introduced into clinical practice.
