Abstract
This study deals with all coats of arms of burghers, which are to be found in former royal-town Litoměřice. In particular, it is concerned with their placement, heraldic blazon and with the identification of their bearers.
The 24 coats of arms in Litoměřice represent 13 burgher families, using their heraldic design as the visual sign of their extraordinary status in the town. The coats of arms can be seen in variety of places: churches, town square and also on statues, tombstones, town buildings or in manuscripts.
They were all created in 16th. - 19th century.
