Abstract
The aim of the editors and the team of authors is a clear and clinically oriented book with recommended procedures in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the respiratory system with practical advice for dealing with acute or chronic respiratory problems. The book includes general chapters (medical history, physical and laboratory examination, functional pulmonary examination, endoscopic examination) and special chapters (selected infectious and chronic respiratory diseases, respiratory manifestations of selected non-pulmonary diseases, congenital defects, etc.).
Attention is also paid to rehabilitation and spa treatment. A book of a similar scale has not been published in domestic medical literature.
