Abstract
The article presents the life and the work of Pavel Aretin of Ehrenfeld, whose map with the title Regni Bohemiae nova et exacta descriptio, i.e. New and exact description of the Kingdom of Bohemia (published in 1619, 1632, 1665, before 1747) was published for the first time exactly 400 years ago.
