Abstract

Yearbook for philosophy and phenomenological research (2018) contains broader study in English by Filip Horáček about Synesius' letter about naval voyage in 401, which after introductory part dealing with fiction and facticity in the letter shows how "cultural-canonical texts" at the same time precede this conceptualizing and lead to its reflection. Extensive study by Martin Bojda "Racionalismus Zjevení: Soulad přírody a milosti podle Andrease Webera v Čechách" informs for the first time about this representative of physico-theological thought, who is almost forgotten even in Germany and who is reacting to Leibniz' rationalism.

Texts by Taťány Petříčková and Richard Zika are contributions to the context of phenomenological thematization of "the other", while the studies by Jaroslav Novotný, Josef Kružík, Matouš Kvapil and Filip Timingeriu are centered around the topic of (generaly speaking) speech in art and thinking.
