Hrotek, c. t., Tachov District, West Bohemia. Historical quarry and Swedisch hill fortress from 1647

Abstract

According written and Picture sources was in the front of swedisch camp bulit the canon fortress for 4 canons. Actually on the same place, on Hrotek hill, there are system of extincted historical quarries.

In one of them 4 glens cutted in to rock were excavated. With help of some pottery sherds is possible dated these glens to 17. century.
