Abstrakt
Video-testimonies help interpreting autobiographical works about the Holocaust and work as a reference for post-memory writings. Fiction literary works about the Holocaust often depend on testimonies.
Holocaust testimonies have different impacts if they are different types of testimony - video, audio and the written ones given by the survivors with different times distances from the occurrences testified about. Richard Glazar one of the many survivors spoke about his survival in Treblinka on several occasion and wrote an autobiography on his escape and survival in Treblinka.
The presentation focuses on the different aspects of the testimonies and what does it say about the autobiography and how autobiography will serve as basis for post-holocaust literature in the future.
