Abstrakt
This is a review of how J. Šubrt reconciles of the role an individual plays in society by describing key players in sociological theory and how historical sociology attempts to solve complex problelms such as moderization and the influence of history on society by forming an interdisciplinary approach to solving these problems. Analysis is given to social roles and how they help bridge the gap between the individual and society.
