Abstract

This presentation deals with a chapter from a "culture war" between the state and the catholic church after 1918 as well as the campaign for leaving the catholic church before censuses of 1921 and 1930. Based on primary sources, it concentrates on the questions of religious neutrality of the state apparatus, state ideology and the discourse analysis of the campaign, with special regard to the position of T.
