This contribution deals with physics curriculum for secondary school. We present the results of a literature review focused on the methodology of physics curriculum development and the results of our preparatory phase of a qualitative research which will aim for development of a new physics curriculum.
The literature review has shown that the methodology of curriculum development is in effect missing and if we would like to create a new physics curriculum, we must create our own transparent methodology. We have decided for a qualitative research approach and we would like to interview persons which are relevant for physics curriculum.
