Abstract
Reproduction of speech/thinking is a phenomenon that often occurs during dialogue. The chapter focuses on the analysis of various verb forms from the verb "to say" and the particle "said", which are very often used to signal reproduction of speech.
Quantitative characteristics and textual analyzes are performed on the material of the Oral and Ortofon corpora. The chapter also includes a phonetic analysis showing the change in pitch and quality of the voice of reproduced speech.
