Abstract
The article presents and appreciates a major scientific publication, a collective monograph that summarizes the centuries of the existence of French literature and, in particular, poetry in Bohemia. It wants to show how the mutual encounters of Czech artists with French literature and culture were manifested at the domain of translation, illustration and editorial, and which links can lead between poetry and its interpretations, between poetry and her inspired painting Creation.
