Abstract

Paper focuses on changing methodology of Czech art historian Jaromír Neumann, especially on his appropriation of iconology in 1960s and structuralism in the first years of his studies at the Faculty of Arts et Charles University, where he studied under structuralist Jan Mukařovský.
