SUPPORT FOR ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES DURING GRIEVING PROCESS: APPROACHES AND METHODS

Abstract

The loss of a close person is one of the most difficult life situations. The way a person copes with such a situation depends, among others, on the support that is given to him or her during grieving.

The article points out importance of bereavement support in the context of special education and other professions and discusses some approaches and methods of bereavement support.
