Transport of tritium in the Vltava and Elbe Rivers

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2019

Abstract

Tritium is released from the Temelín nuclear power plant into the stream of the Vltava River. Its activity concentration decreases along the stream as the flow rate grows.

The data on tritium measured within the Czech territory was used to estimate the tritium concentration along the German part of the Elbe River.
