The paper concerns the phenomenons of boredom and fear at school. In case of boredom attention is dedicated to the current challenges in the field of boredom research and diagnostics in educational settings.
Some of the domestic research findings are presented and the issue of school boredom coping is also discussed. With regard to school fear we focus on its' impact onto pupils' school outcomes, on the problematics of active (mobilizing) and passive (dampening) fear and the connection between school fear and hormonal reactions.
