The effect of durational cues on the reassignment of a syllable in the metrical structure of Czech sentences

Abstract

Examinations of the acoustic correlates of lexical stress in Czech revealed final lengthening operating at the level of individual words. This study aimed to find whether listeners are sensitive to these temporal details and reassign an ambiguous syllable given temporal manipulations.
