Metacognitive activities in pupils' process of solving nonstandard problems

Abstract

All pupils have right to be educated in the environment which develops them to their maximum. It if obvious that satisfiyng the idea of inclusion many heterogennous classes appear and mental scale of pupils in one class is considerable.This put enormous demands on teachers, on hes/his ability to differentiate her/his teaching and promptly individualize assignments.

In the paper we introduce our first findings of the research in which we focus on gifted pupils and we try to describe their meta-cognitive processes. The goal is to understand better to these pupils and make use of that for their more effective teaching.
