Abstract
The article deals with the Civil Procedure, its internal differentiation, identification of the contentious proceedings and non-contentious proceedings and the exercise of the procedural rights of the parties to a case in the information society. The author is convinced that the demands of the civil proceedings are constantly increasing, while the parties to a case are responsible for its process and final judicial decision.
Above all they are those who must actively protect and promote their subjective rights. In conclusion, the author summarized the acquired knowledge based on the analysis in the field of research.
