In this chapter we focus on the general characteristics of the research design and individual steps in research preparation. What questions we need to consider when we are planning a project for our final thesis, article or book? What problems we have to solve and what pitfalls to avoid? In the scope of one chapter we try to answer these questions in the best possible way.
The aim of the chapter is practical - to provide readers with a "first aid" package for research work; and thinking about its presentation.
