Abstract
Small cell lung carcinoma represents an aggressive form of lung carcinoma which belongs to the neuroendocrine tumor's group. Five years overall survival still did not reach the 5% level.
Smoking history remains the main risk factor in small cell lung cancer. According to the staging and patient's performance status are chemotherapy and radiotherapy still standard of care.
Data presented in this article are showing that immunotherapy is new promising modality in small cell lung cancer treatment.
