Abstract
A translation from Hebrew of a work by Rabbi Judah ben Betsalel - the Maharal (c. 1525-1609). At the origin of the book there is a previously unpublished Czech translation by the late translator Mirko Benesh.
Pavel Sládek revised the translation, translated the missing parts and provided a detailed commentary, which besides other contains translations of relevant passages from other Maharal's works. The editor also wrotre an introductory study..
