In accordance wits the decision stated by the authors in the introduction the publica tion was created as Kindergarten Didakctics with the aim to promote the emergent science discipline. Therefore, the content of the text is divided into four basic chapters thet were themetically subdivided into fourteen separte subchapters.
The authors' effort was to give the most comprehensive view of pre-school education and to present a deeper view of the specifics of pre-school education. The publication offers application of selected topics of general didactics in preschool education.
It does not seek to include readers with theoretical definitions, but provides readable information on how to educate effectively with regard to the specificities of preschool age learning. It aims to broaden the professional knowledge and competences of nursery school teachers and develop their ability to orientate themselves in the issues of goals, contents and learning processes.
It focuses mainly on designing educational activities, their implementation and reflection. The theoretical knowledge is presented so that it can be used for practical use and is usually supplemented by illustrative examples from the pedagogical practice of kindergartens obtained through research surveys.
