Abstract
The lecture focused on the development of patrimonial archives in Eastern Bohemia from the Middle Ages to the present. The lecture was devoted to their creation, administration and care in private hands and subsequently in the state archive network.
Examples of important surviving archive collections and professional literature on the topic, including important personalities of patrimonial archival science, were presented.
