Various actors such as states, local governments or foundations support a wide range of project schemes to ensure that the goals of inclusive policies, as well as current needs of target groups, are met. Although the role of projects seems to be vital to ensure specific goals of inclusive policies, not much is known about the overall financial flows and projects' volumes; their geographical targeting; the thematic coverage, or the scope of targeted groups.

The paper introduces a database of integration projects from the Czech Republic, that is currently being developed as part of the project Cities and inclusive strategies, which aims to fill in this information gap. In the first part, the paper introduces the methodological approaches and considerations concerning this database and briefly illustrates its application (such as mapping of capacities and deficiencies or better targeting of project calls).

In the second part, it presents some of the preliminary results that outline, which areas of inclusive policies should be addressed more explicitly by project calls as well as the deficit of various types of project in some locations. The paper concludes that this database is a useful analytical tool to investigate the correspondence between desired outcomes of inclusive policies and supported projects.
