Abstract
The text first defines the concepts of change, variations and "amendments by aplication" of the Constitution, including the factors affecting the relations between them. Subsequently, it applies the concepts to the development of the Constitution of the Czech Republic, i.e. it characterizes individual changes, variations and notices the "amendments" of the Constitution in practice of constitutional bodies and the case law of the Constitutional Court.
The text draws attention to the relatively high degree of non-consolidation of the importance of the various constitutional provisions.
