Abstract
The chapter analyzes fragments of texts from the Second Temple period on Melchizedek. In addition to Genesis Apocryphon, Book of Jubilees, Pseudo-Eupolemus, Philo and Josephus Flavius, much attention is paid to fragments found in Qumran.
