Abstract
Although the theological work of M.-D. Chenu is not focused primarily socio-ethically, yet his theological thinking had an important impact on Catholic social teaching and projected substantially to the debate about method in Catholic social ethics.
The paper focuses on the analysis of Chenu's theological thinking and summarizes the contribution of his thinking in the post-conciliar Christian social ethics.
