The article deals with the Thirty two Chapter (especially verses 22-33) of Genesis (Be-reshit in Hebrew language). It focuses on the topics of the wrestle of the Forefather Jacob with The Unknown and of the mutual relationship of Jacob and Esau twins in coordinates of Jewish historia sacra.
It follows that it discourses Holiness, God's Oneness, Unity, theodicy, rivalry, faithfulness, responsibility, togetherness etc. The author seeks to cast light on the Rabbinic approach based on the quotations from Talmudim and midrashim as well as from other sources (apologetic, mystic, ethical and others).
