Abstract
The monograph focuses on the issues of the "historical" books of the Old Testament, from Joshua to the Maccabees. It offers a systematic overview of introductory information about individual books, follows their theological lines and compares their approach.
The overview is enriched with a brief exegesis of selected key pericopes.
