Abstract
The paper deals with "Lebenswendefeier" in a socio-ethical perspective. This new ritual form is reflected in some aspects of "religious time diagnosis".
It also deals with the Church-world relation, which is reflected in this ritual form. Further, the paper deals with empowerment of participants for socially sensitive, responsible living as an important part of preparing for the celebration of the new ritual form.
