Abstract
My lecture called What aesthetic sensibiloty teaches us and do we have to learn it was presented at the conference Súradnice estetiky, umenia a kultúry V: Estetická výchova a prax vyučovania estetiky v kontextoch európskeho estetického myslenia 19. a 20. storočia organized by Department od aesthetic and artistic culture of Faculty od Arts, Prešov University in Prešov. Aim of this lecture was to demonstrate how Emmanuel Levinas in his texts considers an aesthetic sensibility as one of the sources of human rationality a why it is important to cultivate it within aesthetis education.
