Abstrakt
Shape-shifting is a situation that shows how the relationship between the inside and the outside is perceived in the text and how the identity is represented. In the corpus of ON texts, we can find situations where the transformation is a complete one, as well as those where the transformation is either physical or mental.
At the same time, the perception of the identity and the concept of the protagonist's body changes. In my paper, I will present my recent research where I have chosen to look on phenomena associated with shape-shifting, and analysed contexts of all occurrences of radix ham-
