Abstract
: Twenty-second annual Young Pianists Competition in Karlovy Vary gave an up-to-date view of the quality of piano teaching in the Czech Republic. We can see a significant shift in the level of artistic maturity of young artists.
Intensive work at music schools at all levels as well as lectures and interpretation courses bring positive results.
