Abstract
The author remembered the 400th anniversary of the 3rd map of the Kingdom of Bohemia by Pavel Aretin of Ehrenfeld in her lecture. The contribution showed the life and the work of the supposed author and publisher of the map.
It analysed cartographic historic work New and exact description of the Kingdom of Bohemia. It compared differences of four editions of the map.
It also described the pictorial decoration of the map. It explained the role of Prague Wussin printmakers and publishers in the publication of the map of Bohemia.
In conclusion it evaluated the importance and role of the map.
