Abstract

During its long history, mankind has gone through many different revolutions - from industrial and technological revolutions to political, economic and societal changes. This article describes the most important changes in demographic reproduction, which the humankind has gone through.

It covers mainly the Neolithic Revolution, the first and the second demographic transitions, epidemiological and health transitions.
