A Passavian Antiphoner in Prague, or a Prague Antiphoner from Passau? CZ-Pu III D 10 as source of music history of Passau in the 15th century

Abstrakt
The manuscript III D 10 from the National Library in Prague had a controversial provenance and its dating was uncertain. A new codicological analysis made it possible to date it much earlier, while the investigation of the liturgical content proves that it reflects the liturgy of the Passau diocese.
The study concentrates on the question of what testimony brings this music collection - unique in terms of content - about the music history of Passau in the 15th century and the transfer of repertoire across Central Europe.
