DEVELOPING THE SOCIAL SKILLS OF BEGINNING TEACHERS WITH THE VTI METHOD

Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2019

Abstract

The paper, based on the presented research, suggests the use of VTI for developing the social skills of novice teachers. It briefly describes the VTI method and the way it is incorporated into the undergraduate training of teachers of secondary and higher vocational schools.

The results of previous research suggest that positive video feedback provides significant opportunities for the personal, professional and social development of both teachers and pupils in a wider context. The positive approach of the VTI method improves the communication skills and confidence of novice teachers and thus strengthens effective learning and teaching.
