MYXOFIBROSARCOMA OF THE SPERMATIC CORD: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Myxofibrosarcomas are aggressive and rapidly progressing sarcomas. The mean incidence age is 66 years and the F:M ratio 1:1. 4.

The extremities are the most common site followed by the trunk, pelvis, head and neck and the genital area. It most frequently presents as a painless nodule.

The prognosis depends mostly on the size of the tumor, depth of invasion, the anatomical location and the histological features.
