Abstract
History of St Vitus cathedral consists not only of periods of great building but also more or less continuous repairs of the already standing structure. Chapter accounts of 1530 enable detailed description of building activities, which reinforced high quire of the cathedral by iron rods.
The building activities on which participated carpenters, masons, stonemasons and day labourers were supervised by architect Benedict Ried.
