The lecture focused on teaching mathematics through a foreign language (CLIL method). The CLIL method refers to the teaching of a non-linguistic subject such as mathematics through a foreign language.
CLIL suggests an equilibrium between content and language learning. Both are developed simultaneously and gradually.
It has dual focus. The attention was paid mainly to the following issues: Characterization of CLIL, Interaction of three languages (mother tongue, foreign language and language of mathematics, Forms of using CLIL in school, CLIL in teacher education.
