Abstract
Finding errors can take many forms. We want to detect a false coin in a pile of genuine, an infected blood sample between tens of thousands of donations, or an altered bit in communication with a satellite orbiting Mars.
The seminar will present mathematical methods that solve exactly these types of problems.
